Perry Road
下田市三丁目Perry’s fleet of black ships came to Ryosenji Temple for the signing of the Japan-U.S. Shimoda Treaty, which is how Perry Road got its name. If you walk along the cobblestone path with a foreign, retro atmosphere you can enjoy the namako walls and houses made with Izu stones, and visit the shops and cafes in small private houses.
