Kaikoku Shimoda Minato Road Station
下田市外ヶ岡１番地の１The Harbor Museum introduces the history of Shimoda City through video footage and replica models. The JGFA Kajiki Museum has video footage and replicas relating to the international marlin fishing contest (the “Kajiki” in the museum name is Japanese for marlin). The road station also acts as a tourist information center for Shimoda and it can share information about sightseeing, and has various tourist pamphlets. There are also restaurants with local products and souvenir stores.
