Numazu Minato Shinsenkan

Numazu Minato Shinsenkan is located at the entry to Numazu Port. Freshly caught fish from Suruga Bay, local vegetable produce, tea, wasabi (perfect with sashimi), and sweets are available for purchase from the restaurants and souvenir stores. All the restaurants have affordable rice dishes, lunch sets, revolving sushi, and freshly caught fish. This spot is great, because there are so many great Shizuoka-related things to do - satisfy your stomach with fresh delicious fish, buy famous Shizuoka products and fresh vegetables as souvenirs, and take a break to drink some tea and enjoy some dessert. Take a break on the wooden deck terrace and gaze out at the port. You can purchase seafood at an affordable price here, so it gets very crowded on weekends. The shops are closed between 15:00 and 16:00 (time differs depending on the store) and can also be closed until evening so we recommend you go early. There are also street performers who perform at the venue such as the monkey showman, so you should check the facility’s website in advance.
