Hagachizaki Monkey Bay
静岡県賀茂郡南伊豆町伊浜2622-1Hagachizaki Monkey Bay is a facility where you can encounter and observe wild Japanese monkeys. The Hagachizaki monkeys are the biggest monkey colony in the whole of east Japan. Their habitat includes the coastal area, and the group is considered to be very academically important. There is an area inside the facility where you can experience feeding the monkeys, allowing you to have the rare experience of seeing them up close.
