Osezaki
静岡県沼津市西浦江梨Osezaki, also known by the name of “Biwajima”, is a 1 km (about 0.62 miles) cape protruding into Suruga Bay. The view has long been famous both in Japan and overseas, as Mt. Fuji is visible beyond the sea. ●Kamiike, which is at the end of Kamiike Osezaki, is a fresh water pond despite being so close to the ocean. It is known as one of the strange seven wonders of Izu. According to one theory, it is spring water from Mt. Fuji which has risen to the surface. Many carp swim around in the pond. ●Osezaki Beach is known as one of Japan’s most beautiful beaches, and is visited by many tourists every year. You can enjoy the shallow waters and quiet waves. ●There is a clear distinction between the open sea (scuba diving paradise) and the sea surrounded by land. Osezaki’s ocean has beautiful water and coral so it looks like an underwater flower paradise, and is frequented by many divers throughout the year.
