Hatake Hot Spring

The Hatake hot spring with numerous benefits is a hot spring health resort that is famous with visitors.
The source of the Hatake hot spring is a good quality medicinal hot spring. The hot spring is said to have relieved the fatigue of Minamoto No Yoritomo’s warhorses. It is listed in records dating from the Kanen era (1748-1751) as being a hot spring facility for curing ailments. Poet Wakayama Bokusui also wrote a poem about the Hatake hot spring: “I don’t tire of taking long baths in the water. I soak in the lukewarm water, and I feel relaxed.”
